With mitBasic, you can communicate with everyone
Do you need to send digital mail to people who do not have MitID?
You can use mit.dk even if you need to send digital payslips to foreign workers or individuals under 15 years old without MitID. As long as the user creates a mitBasic profile with an email address as a unique ID, they can receive and read digital mail within GDPR-secure parameters in mit.dk.
A mitBasic profile is a basic account in mit.dk and should be seen as an alternative for users who do not have MitID.
mitBasic: Features and Benefits
Same security
mitBasic's architecture is the same as mit.dk's. This means that digital mail is delivered in the same GDPR-secured universe. Instead of using MitID, the user logs in with an email address and is asked to identify themselves via the Google Authenticator app.
Email address as ID
In mit.dk, digital mail can be delivered using CPR number, CVR number, name and address, or email address as the key. With a mitBasic profile, the user only needs an email address to receive and read digital mail.
Notifications
mitBasic users can receive email notifications when they receive new digital mail.
