The Danish Digitization Agency approves and appoints mit.dk to show public Digital Mail in Denmark
The Danish Agency for Digitisation has approved and appointed mit.dk to show public Digital Mail from eg SKAT, the health service and the municipality to all citizens in Denmark.
From 21 March 2022, mit.dk will ensure Danes easy and secure access to digital mail from the public sector and companies. Therefore, it was a big day when the Danish Agency for Digitization announced that they had accepted the Solution Approval of mit.dk and thus can sign the Connection Agreement between the Danish Agency for Digitization and mit.dk.
Thus, mit.dk can show public Digital Mail from all authorities and public organizations. In practice, this means that Danes with the mit.dk app in hand can access and read their digital mail from public authorities and private companies. The Danish Agency for Digitization confirms with its approval that mit.dk meets the high requirements for, among other things, security and user-friendliness.
With the launch of mit.dk, Denmark will have a new and future-proof platform for digital mail. The app brings together the dialogue between the public sector, companies and citizens in one place, where it will also be possible to pay bills, sign documents, book appointments and much more. Everything is sent and stored in safe conditions, so information and confidential documents are well protected and always at hand.
