1. Processing of personal data in mit.dk

In this privacy policy, you can read about Netcompany A/S’ (hereafter “mit.dk”, “Netcompany”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processing of your personal data in relation to your use of mit.dk, including associated services, products, and features, the mit.dk website and mobile/tablet applications. On mit.dk you can view all your Digital Post from Public Senders, i.e., authorities, agencies, etc.</

The option to view Digital Post from Public Senders in mit.dk is available as a supplement to viewing the messages sent to your public mailbox in Digital Post on www.borger.dk or www.virk.dk. Read more about this in the Terms and Conditions.

You can also receive Digital Post from private senders, such as companies, organisations, and other entities that have an agreement with mit.dk, provided you have agreed to receive Digital Post from them.

Netcompany, as the legal entity, is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data related to your use of the mit.dk website. Our contact information is:

Regarding the content of Digital Post from public and private senders

When you receive Digital Post from public or private senders, these organisations act as independent data controllers for their own processing of your personal data and the content of the Digital Post. For more information on how they process your personal data when sending you Digital Post, we refer to their privacy policies and terms of use. Netcompany processes personal data solely as a data processor on behalf of public and private senders of Digital Post in relation to these activities.

Consent: Our processing of your name and address is based on your consent, pursuant to GDPR Article 6.1.a to be able to identify you as a user if you have consented to Match.

Contract: Except for personal data listed below in relation to legitimate interest, we process your ordinary personal data for the purpose of fulfilling an agreement to which you are a party, cf. GDPR Article 6.1.b.

Legitimate interests: To pursue our legitimate interest, as described below, we process information about your notification settings and we retain your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, as well as your consent to the processing of your national identification number and Match based on GDPR Article 6.1.f. 

We store your acceptance of
the Terms and Conditions, and your consent to the processing of national identification number and Match to document your user registration and your consent to the processing the national identification number and Match. 

We process personal data regarding your notification settings to send you notifications, e.g., in relation to new post.

Consent: Our processing of your national identification number is based on your consent, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act, Section 11.2.2, with the purpose of uniquely identifying you as a user and to support you in relation to your use of mit.dk.

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned. 

We will retain your personal data as long a user profile has been created on mit.dk and until 12 months from deactivation of the user profile.

We will retain documentation of your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions for 5 years after termination of your profile on mit.dk to document the legal basis for processing.

The retention period for personal data may in certain situations be shorter or longer, e.g., if the processing is necessary for the pursuit, exercise, or defence of a legal claim, or if necessary to comply with legal obligations of erasure or retention.

Specific for private users of mit.dk:

We will retain documentation of your consent to the processing of your national identification number for 5 years after your user profile on mit.dk has been terminated.

We retain your consent for Match as long as you are signed up for Match and we will erase your consent immediately after you withdraw it. The consent will remain in the application log for up to 12 months following the withdrawal.
The address will be deleted after the next synchronization with the CPR registry.

Specifically for business users of mit.dk:

We will retain the company registration number and documentation of consent to the processing of the company registration number for 5 years after the termination of your user on mit.dk..

#2 – Updating contact information

We process your personal data to be able to update your contact information. 

We do this, i.e. by automatic updates through the Agency for Digital Government, if you have consented to this and by continu-ously reminding you to update your information.

Legitimate interests: To pursue our legitimate interest, as described below, we process your personal data, cf. GDPR Article 6.1.f.

We ask you to regularly update your contact information to comply with our agreement with the Agency for Digital Government as a public viewer client, to ensure that you receive information about new post and other important messages, and to improve the user experience.

#3 – Your continuous use of mit.dk

We process your personal data for the administration of your continuous use of mit.dk.

for security reasons, including verification of your identity by the login on mit.dk, as well as the processing of personal data in relation to the maintenance of mit.dk.

· Information in our firewall log includes all solutions hosted by mit.dk. The firewall log records all network calls to our data centre.

The address will be deleted after the next synchronization with the CPR registry. 

#4 – Support

If you contact our customer support, we process your personal data to support you in relation to your use of mit.dk.

We process the following categories of personal data about you:

4. Your rights

According to data protection regulation you have several rights in relation to our processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us. You can find our contact information in Section 1 or contact our Data Protection Officer in Section 5. We will respond to your request without undue delay and no later than one month after receiving it. If we are unable to respond to your request within one month, we will notify you no later than one month after receiving your request.

o Where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data about you for such marketing. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us by e-mail: kundeservice@mit.dk. By withdrawing your consent to the processing of your national identification number, your account will be deleted as a result. There may be conditions or limitations to these rights. For instance, it is not certain that you have the right of data portability in the specific case. This depends on the specific circumstances of the processing activities.

6. Updates to the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy will be updated continuously. The privacy policy in force at any time can be found on our website at www.mit.dk. If substantial or material changes or amendments are made to the privacy policy, you will be notified accordingly.
In case of any inconsistencies between this privacy policy and the Danish privacy policy, the later shall prevail.
