Here you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about mitBasic. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, you can contact customer service at mitbasic@mit.dk or by phone at +45 7080 2590.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat is mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

mitBasic is for those who do not have MitID and therefore cannot receive mail on mit.dk. mitBasic gives you access to digital messages, such as pay slips from your employer.<\/p>\n

With mitBasic, your email address is used as your unique ID, allowing your employer to send important messages to you via mitBasic. Make sure to use an email address you will retain access to, such as your personal email rather than your work email.<\/p>\n

Be aware that your mitBasic user profile must match the email address you provide to your employer.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tDo I need mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

If you are over 13 years old, a citizen of Denmark, and have MitID, you cannot use mitBasic. Instead, you must use mit.dk.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow do I log in to mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

F\u00f8rste gang du logger ind p\u00e5 mitBasic, skal du oprette din egen mitBasic konto. Du skal derfor trykke p\u00e5 “Opret konto”. Herefter vil du bl.a. blive bedt om at indtaste din e-mailadresse og dit selvvalgte kodeord.<\/p>\n

For at verificere oprettelsen af kontoen og anvendte e-mail, vil du f\u00e5 tilsendt en verifikationskode til din private e-mail. Indtast koden og tryk “Forts\u00e6t” p\u00e5 hjemmesiden. Du kan benytte din foretrukne authenticator app, fx Google Authenticator, eller en authenticator app med lignende funktionalitet. Derefter skal du indtaste den 6-cifrede kode, som fremg\u00e5r i den valgte authenticator app.<\/p>\n

You will also need to specify whether you want to receive notifications when there are new messages for you in mitBasic.<\/p>\n

For future logins, you only need to log in with your email address and password. Each time you log in, you will receive a verification code via your authenticator app, which you will be asked to enter for security reasons.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow do I get an authenticator app?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

You can use your preferred authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, or any other app with similar functionality. You can download apps like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or a similar authenticator with the same functionality from the App Store or Google Play, just like you would download any other app.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat can I do in mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

In mitBasic, you can receive, read, and forward messages from your employer, who sends messages to you through mitBasic.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if I have questions about messages in mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

If you have questions about the messages you receive in mitBasic, you should contact the company that sent you the message.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tDoes it cost anything to use mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

No, it is free to use mitBasic.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tForgot your password?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

If you have forgotten your password, you should do the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Tryk p\u00e5 “Glemt adgangskode” p\u00e5 forsiden af mitBasic<\/li>\n
  2. Enter your e-mail address<\/li>\n
  3. You will now receive an email with a link to reset your password<\/li>\n
  4. Click the link<\/li>\n
  5. Enter your new password<\/li>\n
  6. Herefter indtast verifikationskoden fra din authenticator app og tryk “Opdater adgangskode”<\/li>\n
  7. Go back to the login page and log in<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\tCan I change my e-mail in mitBasic?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Har du f\u00e5et ny e-mailadresse, er det muligt at \u00e6ndre din e-mail i mitBasic samtidig med at du fortsat har adgang til dine tidligere beskeder. Husk at oplyse din arbejdsgiver om din nye e-mailadresse – ellers vil du ikke modtage dine nye beskeder.<\/p>\n

    7. A verification code will be sent to your new email<\/li>\n
    8. Indtast verificeringskoden fra din authenticator app og tryk “Forts\u00e6t”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\tHow do I delete my mitBasic account?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

      Please be aware that when you delete your account, your messages will be permanently deleted.<\/p>\n

      You delete your mitBasic account in the following way:<\/p>\n
